Kinja'd!!!

I'm getting my new truck in a few days and need some help with wheel fitment.

So when I buy my new truck, which is a 2014 f-150 4wd supercrew, my parents are going to keep my previous truck since they needed a new vehicle. I have put a picture at the top.

My question is, does anyone know the max offset I can go with before I need a leveling kit? I want to take the wheels and tires off my old truck, old being a relative term here, and put them on the new one. As they sit they are 285/70r17 tires on a 17x9 wheel with -12 offset.

Haha no big deal. And I'm not on the forums but I spent hours digging through them last night and could not find a single thing on that.

The trucks havn't been out that long, but fitment appears to be about the same as the 04-08's. As a general rule with a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit on a 4x4, you can run up to a 35x12.50 using the OEM wheels or 33's using wider aftermarket wheels

Guys seem to be running a 305/55/R20 (33x12) on the stock 20" wheels and it fits no problem.

Looks like that silver truck is only a couple years older than your new truck so the bolt pattern will be the same....so if you parents don't mind just swap wheels over?

Yeah the silver one is about 3 years old.
I don't think my parents mind but the thing is I'm worried about the offset of those wheels on the new truck's stock suspension.

Is that silver truck leveled at all? Looks mostly stock and from everything I can gather online any truck 09 or newer the wheels basically fit the same in the wheel well.

Yeah it has a 2" level kit on it. It's just that bumper pulls the front end down a bit
